We’ve turned Laniakea into your go-to place for live moments. Starting today, you can discover ~300,000 events—concerts, sports, theater, festivals, expos—and buy tickets in one click using the card you’ve already saved in the Laniakea app.

What’s new

Massive catalog: Browse a constantly refreshed pool of ~300k events across music, sports, arts & culture, nightlife, conferences, and more.
One-click checkout: If you’ve saved a card in Laniakea, purchasing is as simple as “Buy with •••• LAST4”. Done.
In-app ticket wallet: Your tickets live inside Laniakea—QR/barcode, instructions, entry times, and venue info are all there.
Smart discovery: Search by city, date, price range, category, or vibe; save favorites; set alerts.
Localized experience: Currency, dates, and language adapt to you; fees and taxes are shown before you pay.
Share in two taps: Send an event to friends or drop it into a group chat; they can buy instantly too.

How it works (user flow)

Open Laniakea → Events. See trending nearby and personalized picks.
Find your event. Filter by date, category, artist/team, or price.
Check details. Lineup, venue map, entry rules, refund/exchange policy.
Tap “Buy with •••• LAST4.” Confirm total → that’s it.
Ticket appears in Wallet. View QR/barcode, add to device wallet, get day-of reminders.

No saved card yet? You’ll be prompted once to add one securely. After that, it’s true one-tap.

Reliability & speed

Instant confirmation: Most orders confirm in seconds. You’ll see status in-app and via push.
Clear pricing: Taxes, fees, and seat/section are visible before purchase—no surprises.
Real-time availability: If a show is hot and seats move fast, we’ll lock your selection during checkout or tell you instantly if it changes.

Security & privacy

Tokenized payment methods: Laniakea stores no raw card numbers. Your saved card is represented by secure tokens.
Purchase controls: You can remove a card, set PIN/biometric confirm, or require re-auth for purchases over a threshold.
Fraud safeguards: We continuously monitor for unusual activity and may ask for an extra confirmation when needed.

Seat map (where supported): Pick your exact seats, see sightlines and price tiers.
Price tracking: Star an event to get notified if prices drop or more tickets release.
Group planning: Create a simple link so friends can buy seats in the same section.
Calendar sync: Add events to your calendar with one tap; we’ll handle time zone shifts.

Flexible policies: Set your own refund/exchange rules; we surface them clearly to buyers.

FAQs

Is one-click safe?Yes. We use industry-standard tokenization and require device biometrics or a quick confirm if you enable it in Settings.

Can I refund or transfer my ticket?Depends on the organizer’s policy. We show it upfront, and you’ll find your options on the ticket detail screen.

What if the event is postponed or canceled?You’ll get an in-app notification and email with the organizer’s official resolution (refund or reschedule). Your ticket detail updates automatically.

Which cards are supported?Major debit/credit cards saved in Laniakea. You can manage them in Settings → Payments.
